چکیده

Stellar orbits at the Galactic Center provide a very clean probe of gravitational potential supermassive black hole. They can be studied with unique precision, beyond confusion limit single telescope, near-infrared interferometer GRAVITY. Imaging is essential to search field for faint, unknown stars on short which potentially could constrain hole spin. Furthermore, it provides starting point astrometric fitting derive highly accurate stellar positions. Here, we present G R , new imaging tool specifically designed observations The algorithm based Bayesian interpretation problem, formulated in framework information theory and building upon existing works radio-interferometric imaging. Its application GRAVITY from 2021 yields deepest images date scales few milliarcseconds. reveal complicated source structure within central 100 mas around Sgr A*, where detected S29 S55 confirm S62 its trajectory, slowly approaching A*. were able detect S38, S42, S60, S63 series exposures offset fiber We an update all aforementioned stars. X-RAY SOURCES WITH PERIODIC VARIABILITY IN A DEEP Chandra IMAGE OF THE GALACTIC CENTER

We report the discovery of eight X-ray sources with periodic variability in 487 ks of observations of the Galactic center with Chandra. The sources are identified from a sample of 285 objects detected with 100–4200 net counts. Their periods range from 300 s to 4.5 h with amplitudes between 40% and 70% rms. They have luminosities of (1 − 5) × 10 erg s (2–8 keV at 8 kpc). The spectra of seven of ...

The Galactic Center

In the past decade high resolution measurements in the infrared employing adaptive optics imaging on 10m telescopes have allowed determining the three dimensional orbits stars within ten light hours of the compact radio source at the center of the Milky Way. These observations show the presence of a three million solar mass black hole in Sagittarius A* beyond any reasonable doubt. The Galactic ...

The Galactic Center Magnetosphere

The magnetic field within a few hundred parsecs of the center of the Galaxy is an essential component of any description of that region. The field has several pronounced observational manifestations: 1) morphological structures such as nonthermal radio filaments (NTFs) – magnetic flux tubes illuminated by synchrotron emission from relativistic electrons – and a remarkable, large-scale, helicall...

The Galactic Center radio jet

Recent observations of the radio and NIR source Sgr A* reinforce the interpretation of the Galactic Center as a scaled down version of an AGN. The discovery of an elongated structure at 43 GHz and increasing evidence for the presence of an accretion disk surrounding a Black Hole lead us to assume that both, an accretion disk and a jet, are present in the Galactic Center and are physically linke...

determinant of the hankel matrix with binomial entries

abstract in this thesis at first we comput the determinant of hankel matrix with enteries a_k (x)=?_(m=0)^k??((2k+2-m)¦(k-m)) x^m ? by using a new operator, ? and by writing and solving differential equation of order two at points x=2 and x=-2 . also we show that this determinant under k-binomial transformation is invariant.
